This journey has been specifically designed around the 2027 Total Solar Eclipse in Luxor, rather than adding the eclipse to a standard Egypt itinerary.
The route begins in Cairo, where you will discover the Giza Pyramids, Great Sphinx, Grand Egyptian Museum, Saqqara, Memphis and Dahshur.
You then fly south to Aswan, visit the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel, and board a 3-night Nile cruise sailing north toward Luxor.
After disembarking in Luxor, you will explore the East and West Banks before having a relaxed day to prepare for the eclipse.
On Monday, August 2, 2027, you will experience the Total Solar Eclipse in Luxor. Totality is expected to last approximately 6 minutes and 22 seconds.
The final day takes you back to Cairo for Old Cairo and Al-Muizz Street before your international departure.
