When to Visit Cairo October through April is generally the most comfortable period for sightseeing in Cairo, with cooler mornings and more pleasant daytime temperatures.
December through February can be busy, so early starts are useful for the Giza Pyramids and other major attractions. During the hotter months, we recommend starting sightseeing early and planning indoor visits during the warmer part of the day.
Opening hours and visitor conditions can vary during Ramadan and public holidays, so we plan the itinerary around the confirmed operating hours for your travel dates.

- Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring sun protection, especially between April and October.
- For mosque visits, modest clothing is recommended.
