- Cairo

This eight-day journey brings together the three sides of Egypt in one trip: the monuments of Cairo, the temples of the Nile and the beaches of the Red Sea.
You begin in Cairo, where your Egyptologist takes you to the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the complete treasures of Tutankhamun. You then fly south to Aswan to visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the island Temple of Philae, before boarding your Nile cruise for the night in Aswan.
Over three nights you sail north to Luxor, stopping at the riverside temple of Kom Ombo and the Temple of Horus at Edfu, and arriving in time to explore Karnak and Luxor Temple. On your last morning in Luxor you visit the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut on the West Bank.
From Luxor you drive across the Eastern Desert to Hurghada for two days on the Red Sea. Swim, snorkel the coral reefs or simply rest by the pool after a week of temples. On the last day, a private vehicle takes you back to Cairo Airport for your flight home.
Your guiding, airport assistance and transfers are private throughout. On the Nile cruise you share the ship with other guests, but every visit ashore is with your own Egyptologist, at your own pace.
