Our Fleet
Travel comfortably between Aswan and Luxor with our private transfer service. Whether you're staying at a hotel, Nile cruise, or arriving at Aswan International Airport, our professional driver will pick you up on time and take you directly to your destination in Luxor. Enjoy a relaxing journey in a modern air-conditioned vehicle without the stress of public transportation, crowded trains, or negotiating with local taxis. This transfer is ideal for couples, families, solo travelers, and small groups looking for a safe, reliable, and comfortable journey through Upper Egypt. The drive takes approximately 3.5–4 hours depending on traffic and security checkpoints.
A private Aswan to Luxor transfer covers 215 km north along the Nile valley road and takes three and a half to four hours. We collect from your hotel in Aswan and take you to your hotel in Luxor, on either bank, or to Luxor International Airport.
This is a direct transfer with no sightseeing stops. Kom Ombo and Edfu are both on the route if you want them — we run that as a separate service, linked at the bottom of this page.
The road
The route follows the river the whole way north — sugarcane fields, irrigation canals and villages, with the Nile beside you for most of the drive. It is well surfaced and busy with local traffic rather than heavy freight, and it is a genuinely pleasant few hours rather than something to endure.
There are routine police checkpoints along the valley, where the driver is asked how many passengers are travelling and what nationalities. Keep your passports reachable rather than packed in a case in the boot. Each stop adds a few minutes, not more.
Travel permits — included, and handled for you
Transfers that cross a governorate boundary in Egypt require a travel permit arranged in advance. Aswan to Luxor crosses one.
We handle it. The permit, the road tolls and the checkpoint formalities are all included in the price you are quoted — nothing extra to pay and nothing for you to arrange.
What we need is passport details for every traveller, sent at least 24 hours before you travel. Permits cannot be issued at the roadside, so a booking made too late to arrange one is a booking we cannot run.
Both banks in Luxor, one price
Luxor's hotels sit on both sides of the river, and the West Bank is a crossing further out. Some operators quietly add a surcharge for it. We do not — the price is the same wherever you are staying in Luxor.
Door to door, at your own time
We collect from your hotel at the time you choose and take you to the door of your hotel in Luxor. There is no meeting point to find, no shared vehicle, and no other passengers to wait for.
If you are connecting to a flight from Luxor, give us the flight number and we will set the departure time from it rather than asking you to estimate. Four hours of road is not a journey to leave tight.
Compared with the train
The train between Aswan and Luxor is cheaper and it is a perfectly good way to travel. What it does not do is collect you from your hotel, adjust to your own timing, or carry your luggage from door to door. If those things matter on the day you are travelling, a private transfer is the better choice. If they do not, take the train — we would rather tell you that than sell you something you do not need.
Book now, pay on arrival
