Day 1 — Hurghada → Luxor | East Bank & Nile Sunset
In the Morning — Pickup from Hurghada Your private driver will meet you at your hotel in Hurghada in the morning. Travel comfortably to Luxor in a private air-conditioned vehicle. The journey takes approximately 4 hours, depending on your hotel location and road conditions. Upon arrival in Luxor, meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin exploring the ancient city. Karnak Temple Your first major visit is the enormous Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest and most impressive religious complexes ever built. With your private Egyptologist, explore the Great Hypostyle Hall, the monumental columns, obelisks, sacred lake and the temples dedicated to the great gods of ancient Thebes. Luxor Temple Continue to Luxor Temple, located directly on the east bank of the Nile. Luxor Temple was closely associated with the rejuvenation of kingship and the annual Open Festival. Nile Sunset Boat Ride In the late afternoon, enjoy a private Nile boat ride around sunset. Rather than treating the Nile crossing simply as transportation, this is designed as a relaxing experience. Cruise along the river and enjoy views of the East and West Banks as the sun sets over Luxor.
