Begin at the iconic Giza Plateau, where you’ll stand in awe of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the only remaining wonder of the ancient world. See the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, and marvel at the mighty Sphinx, the guardian of this ancient necropolis.
Continue to Sakkara, home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the world’s first monumental stone structure. Built in the 27th century BC, it marks the very beginning of pyramid design in ancient Egypt. Discover surrounding tombs filled with incredible reliefs, hieroglyphics, and scenes of daily life.
