Hotel Pickup Your Remoza Tours guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel in Cairo or Giza. You’ll travel in a comfortable private air-conditioned vehicle directly to the Giza Plateau, located about 30–45 minutes from central Cairo, depending on traffic. Explore the Giza Pyramids Complex Upon arrival at the Giza Plateau, your Egyptologist guide will begin with a full explanation of the ancient necropolis and the Pyramid of Khufu (Great Pyramid) — the last surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. You’ll walk around its base, hear stories about its construction, and may enter the interior (optional ticket required). Next, visit the smaller yet still majestic Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, built for Khufu’s son and grandson. Your guide will explain the evolution of pyramid building and share legends of the builders and rituals performed here. Panoramic Viewpoint & Optional Camel Ride You’ll be taken to the desert viewpoint, offering the perfect angle for photos with all three pyramids in one frame. Here, you can choose to take a short camel or horse ride across the sand dunes (optional, paid on site). It’s an iconic experience, especially for first-time visitors. Visit the Great Sphinx & Valley Temple Drive down to the lower part of the plateau to visit the mysterious Great Sphinx, carved from a single limestone block and symbolizing royal strength and protection. Your guide will discuss the history and myths surrounding its human face and lion body. Just beside the Sphinx lies the Valley Temple, part of King Khafre’s pyramid complex. Here, priests performed purification rituals and mummification — a key part of ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife. Optional Lunch Break You can stop for lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant, based on your guide’s recommendation. Enjoy dishes like grilled chicken, kofta, rice, and fresh bread (optional and not included in tour price).
