This extended version allows for more relaxed travel , and includes all domestic flights, private transfers, licensed guides, and entry tickets. It’s the perfect short package for travelers who want to see Upper Egypt’s top highlights without feeling rushed.
Your journey begins with an early morning flight from Cairo to Aswan. Upon arrival at Aswan Airport, your private guide will meet and escort you directly to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, located near Egypt’s southern border (approx. 3 hours drive each way).
These massive rock-cut temples, built by Ramses II, are one of the most remarkable monuments of ancient Egypt. Admire the towering statues at the entrance and the intricate carvings inside both the Great Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Queen Nefertari.
After returning to Aswan in the afternoon, you’ll check in to your hotel and have time to rest.
Later in the day, enjoy an optional tour to a Nubian Village by motorboat along the Nile. Discover the unique culture, colorful houses, and warm hospitality of the Nubian people — one of Egypt’s oldest communities.

After breakfast at your hotel in Aswan, begin your sightseeing with a visit to the stunning Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This beautiful temple complex was rescued from rising Nile waters and relocated to Agilkia Island, offering one of the most scenic temple settings in Egypt.
Next, visit the High Dam, a modern engineering marvel built in the 1960s to control the flooding of the Nile and generate electricity. Enjoy the panoramic views of Lake Nasser and learn about its impact on Egypt’s economy and landscape.
After the tour, begin your journey by private car to Luxor (approx. 4 hours). On the way, you can relax and enjoy views of traditional villages, palm groves, and the Nile Valley.
Optional: Stop to visit Kom Ombo Temple or Edfu Temple en route (upon request).
Upon arrival in Luxor, check into your hotel and enjoy free time to relax, or take an optional evening visit to Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated at night.
