Your day starts at the Giza Plateau, where you’ll stand face-to-face with one of the greatest architectural achievements in human history — the Great Pyramid of Khufu, along with the pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure. Wander around the site, take panoramic photos, and learn the secrets of pyramid construction. Continue your visit to the Great Sphinx, carved from a single limestone block, and the Valley Temple, which played a key role in the pharaohs' burial rituals.
Next, drive south to Sakkara, the vast necropolis of ancient Memphis.
